Our Team

Kieron Lomax

Founder

Kieron founded Field & Fin with a vision to promote field sports and the way of life in the Great British countryside. He is a passionate advocate for the role field sports play in our rural communities, heritage and believes that in bringing different interests together we are in a stronger position to ensure that future generations can continue to enjoy our sports.

He has been involved in field sports from a very early age, beginning with trout fishing from the age of five with his grandfather in Yorkshire. In his spare time he enjoys game shooting, has represented England in clay shooting, trail hunting, fishing and deer stalking. Kieron lives in rural Derbyshire with his wife (to be!), two children, three labradors and a dachshund.

Chris Sage

Director

Chris was brought up in the West Country and has a long history of involvement in a wide range of field sports. Like many he began with coarse fishing, followed by fly fishing and progressed to rough and game shooting by his teenage years. Following a move from Somerset to Cheshire he worked in hunt service as a Whipper In and continues his involvement in trail hunting and especially Point to Pointing. If you have attended a P2P in the last few years, no doubt you will have heard his delicate Somerset tones over the tannoy system as he regularly commentates on races across the Midlands meets.

Having recently moved to Shropshire, Chris continues to enjoy his shooting, fishing, trail hunting and especially picking up with his labrador Fynn.
